Starting with Val Verde - Socorro this spring we will begin on site sutlery services where none existed before. This service will continue at all of the encampments listed above for New Mexico. Uniforms, field gear, flags, insignia, etc for CW and Indian Wars period 1861-1899. Give us a look.
Since the last update the 1st Texas has participated in many succesful engagements. Val Verde (Socorro), Bellmead, Wilson's Creek, and early this month Granbury, Texas (6-8 Oct 2000). The Battery is growing rapidly - 4 Guns in Texas, 1 Gun in New Mexico and one Gun in Arizona currently on line. Within the next 18 months this number will increase to 6 Guns in Texas, 2 in Las Cruces, NM and 1 in Arizona. We have well over 50 active members and are actively recruiting for more.
