The Commemorative Congress is an umbrella group for the Civil War reenacting groups in the State of New Mexico. Its purpose is to coordinate local events, etc. Most of these events relate to the campaign in New Mexico as well as other general living history events. It consists of the following groups:

4th Texas Volunteers

Civil War Ladies League

New Mexico Territorial Band

First New Mexico

23rd New York

Artillery Company

5th US Inf. Co. I

5th Texas Mounted Volunteers

1st Texas Light Artillery Battery H

4th Texas Regimenetal Artillery

We are striving to develop in the coming months an in depth resource for the Western Campaign. There is a good start on this as the equivalent of several hundred typewritten pages have been added and it will be continuously updated.
