Sunday February 2, 1997 Battle of Peralta 135th Anniversary This is a small one day event where a reenactment of the Battle of Peralta will be fought. This was a rear gaurd action that was fought during the Confederate retreat from New Mexico.
February 8, 1997 Annual Winter Ball This will be held in a large tent in a manner typical of the period with provision for refreshments (Bring your own dinner)
March 2, 1997 Occupation of Albuquerque Ceremony At 1:00 there will be a ceremony commemorating the 135th anneversary of the occupation of Albuquerque by Confederate fofrces. Participants will need to meet at the Albuquerque Museum at 11:00 that morning. This will be the same day and day of week as the original event.

April 4-5, 1996 Shiloh Reenactment
May 17 and 18, 1997 - La Cienega Planning has started on this as a major event. 135th Anniversary Battle scenarios for Valverde, Apache Canyon and Gloriets!For reference, the material describing the type of planning for the 1996 event is included.
